Organizational Development
University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, Division of Continuing Education and Community Engagement
09/02/2020
Organizational Development is concerned with the dynamic between individuals, teams and organizations in the setting and achievement of goals. The degree program also includes an opportunity for a capstone experience or final project, which puts together everything students have learned in the context of a real-world problem or challenge. Students are encouraged to use their own work environment for their capstone experience. As an area of emphasis within the Associate of Arts & Sciences degree, the Accelerated Degree program has been designed with built-in flexibility and personalized coaching, specially developed to expedite professional growth, while making it possible to manage a job, family and home. The Accelerated Degree satisfies general education requirements for an Associate of Arts & Science Degree across all UW System schools. Show More

This program is offered

Applicants are encouraged to apply 6-8 weeks before the start of the term, however applications will be reviewed on submission.
As part of the application process students will work with a dedicated and personal Student Success Coach, who will evaluate their goals and life journey to help them design a plan that will work for them. The Student Success Coach will analyze the learning within a student’s life and complete an unofficial credit transfer evaluation and determine if any credits may apply towards their degree program. The Student Success Coach will not only provide counseling and support during the initial evaluation, helping to locate all supporting documents to support prior learning or credit transfer, they will also advise and support students throughout their entire time with the program. The goal of the Student Success Coach is to maximize and streamline the program from application to completion to ensure student success and experience of high-value education.
UW-Green Bay provides students with multiple options for receiving online tutoring services. Working with UWGB's The Learning Center and signing up for an account with the contracted tutoring service provider Brainfuse are two great ways students can access online tutoring at no additional cost. https://www.uwgb.edu/canvas/online-tutoring

PLEASE NOTE:

If there are fewer than eight enrollments in the training program, only the "Enrollments" number will be displayed; all other data is hidden in order to help protect the students' identities. The "Employment Outcomes" are calculated using information from Wisconsin's Unemployment Insurance Wage database. Most employers are required to report certain employment information to the State of Wisconsin, including quarterly wage information for their employees. Students whose information could not be verified in this database are excluded from these outcomes. If a "0" shows for any of these outcomes, it means that none of the students' information could be verified.

MAKING SENSE OF THE EMPLOYMENT OUTCOMES:

"Average quarterly wages" means the total wages earned in a three-month period by all students who completed the program ("completers"), divided by the total number of completers.

"Median quarterly wages" means all the completers' quarterly wages are placed in order from lowest to highest and then we identify the student's wages in the middle. This information is provided because averages can be greatly influenced by really high and low wage earners.

To estimate monthly wages, divide the quarterly wages by three.
