Blackhawk Technical College
The Associate of Applied Science degree in Accounting prepares its graduates for entry-level positions in a variety of business enterprises. The Accounting program is designed to build a solid foundation in accounting principles, theories, and practices. Program objectives focus on the study of financial, managerial, and tax accounting theory and procedures along with developing intellectual, interpersonal, and communication skills. BTC Career Services helps students explore careers, prepare for the job application process and find current opportunities. BTC offers resume writing, mock interviews, job search techniques, and internships, when available.
Blackhawk Technical College provides free tutoring services to credit students enrolled at the college. We offer online, open lab and peer tutoring. Also counseling services are available.

n order to receive refunds, you must formally request refunds from Registration and Records by notifying them of your intent to drop a class(es) or completely withdraw from all classes. Requests for refunds must be received during the same term of enrollment. In the event of extenuating circumstances, you should meet with the Registrar and be prepared to provide documentation / evidence supporting your request.

MAKING SENSE OF THE EMPLOYMENT OUTCOMES:

"Average quarterly wages" means the total wages earned in a three-month period by all students who completed the program ("completers"), divided by the total number of completers.

"Median quarterly wages" means all the completers' quarterly wages are placed in order from lowest to highest and then we identify the student's wages in the middle. This information is provided because averages can be greatly influenced by really high and low wage earners.

To estimate monthly wages, divide the quarterly wages by three.
