Concordia's Business Administration concentration in human resources will teach you about important federal and state legislation, case law decisions, and executive orders that affect employment relationships. Learn to analyze a compensation plan that identifies and describes plan objectives, salary structure, and fringe benefits. Gain the understanding to identify organizational needs for safety plans in multiple areas governed by OSHA related to employee health, safety, and security. Engage in management techniques that integrate employee and organizational development with leadership, and learn organizational strategies for recruitment, selection, training, retention, and development of employees. Program curriculum provides the student with the education necessary to be successful in their chosen field. Each student is assigned an Academic and Career Advisor who assists them throughout their program.
Concordia University has a genuine desire to work with partners in the community. Companies who agree to partner are able to access customized professional development opportunities and employer spotlight recruiting opportunities. Employees of partner companies receive a Business Community Scholarship.
Every Concordia student has access to Handshake, the largest internship and job search platform designed specifically for college students. Internships complement coursework and help students discover how their gifts and talents are best used in the workplace. Students have access to thousands of internships and full-time jobs in Wisconsin and nationwide.
Concordia has an on-campus Academic Resource Center that provides tutoring services and a writing lab. Concordia also has a contract with TutorMe to provide web-based tutoring and writing assistance to non-traditional students.

MAKING SENSE OF THE EMPLOYMENT OUTCOMES:

"Average quarterly wages" means the total wages earned in a three-month period by all students who completed the program ("completers"), divided by the total number of completers.

"Median quarterly wages" means all the completers' quarterly wages are placed in order from lowest to highest and then we identify the student's wages in the middle. This information is provided because averages can be greatly influenced by really high and low wage earners.

To estimate monthly wages, divide the quarterly wages by three.
