The Certified Production Technician Certification was developed by the Manufacturing Skills Standards Council along the US Department of labor as a Supply Chain Certification. The certification is composed two workforce training courses. 1. The Certified Logistics Associate - A foundational Course includes modules on: the global supply chain, the logistics environment, safety, safe equipment operation, material handling equipment, quality control, workplace communication, teamwork and problem solving and using computers. 2. The Certified Logistics Technician - This Course provides students with the mid-level technical knowledge needed to understand the world of supply chain logistics and related core competencies. The training is open entry/exit. Applications are accepted throughout the year except during the holiday breaks.
Logistics Analyst, Supply Chain managers or supervisors.
Placement is done with companies who have hired former students. Also through M-WERC, MATC and the Wisconsin Regional Training Partnership (WRTP).
Tutoring is available during the training as needed.

Fees are for online course module with testing.
Refund Policy does not apply. Students do not pay for the training program. Funding is provided by various Workforce agencies funding.

MAKING SENSE OF THE EMPLOYMENT OUTCOMES:

"Average quarterly wages" means the total wages earned in a three-month period by all students who completed the program ("completers"), divided by the total number of completers.

"Median quarterly wages" means all the completers' quarterly wages are placed in order from lowest to highest and then we identify the student's wages in the middle. This information is provided because averages can be greatly influenced by really high and low wage earners.

To estimate monthly wages, divide the quarterly wages by three.
