Carpenters Training Institute
Driving and Extraction of Piling (3000 hours): Includes sheeting and sheet piling, cofferdam and caisson work, cribbing, as well as all types of piling. Arc Welding and Oxy-Acetylene Torchwork (800 Hours). Concrete Form Construction (1100 Hours): Docks and Wharves, piers, bumpers. Heavy Timer Construction (500 Hours): Docks and wharves, piers and bumpers. Miscellaneous (440 Hours): Demolition, safety, diving, signaling, scaffolding, or anyother manipulative process not listed or implied elsewhere. LENGTH OF PROGRAM: 48 Months. OJT WAGE: $20.45 starting, with gradual increases to $34.59. Number of Apprentices Enrolled: 0. Number of Graduates: 1. Graduation Rate: 33%.
