Class B CDL Program
Badger CDL DBA Milwaukee CDL Institute
02/21/2018
Milwaukee CDL Institute provides CDL training for both Class B or C vehicles with classroom and onsite hands-on practice. Our instructors are authorized by the Wisconsin DOT and EAP. With years of CDL experience, our institute is designed to progress students into skilled CDL drivers and successfully have them enroll into our Badger CDL Job Connect Program. Our facility trains students on CMV (commercial motor vehicle) safety, pre-trip inspection/electronic log laws, live drive time focusing on shifting/downshifting and control skills exercises (backing practice). We use no computer simulators for our training program. All our driver training is done in real commercial vehicles, because our students will drive real trucks and get tested by a for hire company on real units and not be tested on how they drive a computer simulator. Students will test at our school with our on-site examiners, so no wait time is put on any applicant. Restrictions apply. Show More

Applicant/or student must have a Valid Driver’s License and CDL Permit prior to signing up for this program.

This program is offered

Milwaukee CDL Institute's application deadline is the first start date of each class session. So, if a class is set to start for example on January 1st, Monday, the student can sign up any day before and up to the first class start date.
Students will gain many skills from our training program. Once they obtain their Class A CDL, they will be eligible to drive Class Class B (single unit vehicles such as straight or dump trucks) and Class C (smaller unit vehicles, such as transport sprinter vans and emergency vehicles). With obtaining their CDL, they will have skills to work in many of job fields, including dock work, yard pushers/backing jobs and will have a chance to take a trucking company office job because of their background of having their CDL.
Milwaukee CDL Institute offers jobs through our Badger CDL-Job Connect Program. The job connect program has been running strong for over 5 years and has helped applicants, students and employers in our local region connect to offer strong competitive job placements for CDL holders. We like to have most of our students work local CDL jobs instead of having them in other states or for outside companies. Work local, make money and be home every night.
At the Milwaukee CDL Institute, we are open 7 days, 365! The reason for an all year open company is to really go that extra mile for that student in need. Students that are behind in class, are asked to come in and get additional training on the weekend for no extra charge. We will tutor that student on where they lack to make sure they catch up with the rest of the class, so when the next Monday starts, they are all on the same level.

PLEASE NOTE:

If there are fewer than eight enrollments in the training program, only the "Enrollments" number will be displayed; all other data is hidden in order to help protect the students' identities. The "Employment Outcomes" are calculated using information from Wisconsin's Unemployment Insurance Wage database. Most employers are required to report certain employment information to the State of Wisconsin, including quarterly wage information for their employees. Students whose information could not be verified in this database are excluded from these outcomes. If a "0" shows for any of these outcomes, it means that none of the students' information could be verified.

MAKING SENSE OF THE EMPLOYMENT OUTCOMES:

"Average quarterly wages" means the total wages earned in a three-month period by all students who completed the program ("completers"), divided by the total number of completers.

"Median quarterly wages" means all the completers' quarterly wages are placed in order from lowest to highest and then we identify the student's wages in the middle. This information is provided because averages can be greatly influenced by really high and low wage earners.

To estimate monthly wages, divide the quarterly wages by three.
