Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)

This program prepares students for a role in Business Analysis and delivers the content covered within the CBAP certification exam. Review the 6 Knowledge Areas of the BABOK Guide and discuss the business analysis tasks performed in each. Understand the relationships between the business analysis processes and how each defines an important aspect of the business analysis discipline. Review key terms, business analysis techniques, and competencies important to business analysis. Discuss the 5 business analysis Perspectives presented in BABOK Guide, v3. Complete simulated exam questions to assess personal readiness for taking the exam. Obtain key tips and techniques for effectively preparing for and successfully completing the CBAP or CCBA exam. Students attend 4 days of scheduled instruction. Preparation for certification exam requires additional study time, which is self-scheduled. Show More

At least two years of business analysis experience with an interest in pursuing a business analysis certification or interest in obtaining information about the exam, exam process, and the content covered. IIBA requires additional experience to earn the CBAP designation. Students will need to complete all forms/applications to be eligible to take certification exam. This program has job placement services. We provide resources to support effective job search techniques, strategies, and tools like: resume development, interview skills and leveraging LinkedIn. We offer interviewing practice sessions and resume reviews. Professional job placement assistance through recruiting and business partnerships is available to career development students.
