Hudson Truck Driving School offers Automatic and Manual FMCSA ELDT Class A CDL Transmission Training Programs. Training includes 100 hours of coursework and classroom education; Rules of the Road, Air Brakes, Pre-Trip Inspections, Accident Procedures, Cargo Documentation and Securement, Hours of Service Regulations, Driver Qualification Regulations, Defensive Driving, Backing and Loading Dock Procedures, Hazardous Materials Information. Up to24-hours of hands-on backing maneuvers practice; Up to 30-hours of one-to-one on street behind-the-wheel instruction; Up to 26-hours of Simulator Training on shifting and backing maneuvers 24-hours Classroom Education Bumper-2- Bumper Online Training US DOT Physical is included in the tuition cost; Class A CDL Road test 5 attempts at no additional charge. Enrollment and registration are by appointment only. Students are welcome to come during regular office hours; Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM for registration. Please call the school at 651-735-9250 to schedule an appointment.
The truck driving industry continues to have a shortage of qualified drivers. Truck Drivers are considered essential workers, as such they are in high demand. There is no "one size fits all" as far as job prospects and opportunities to advance your career in truck driving. Within the industry there are many differing driving jobs with varying degrees of responsibility and earnings potential.
Our school actively works with over 40+ recruiters with many options for routes. We have local, regional and over-the-road carriers come visit the school weekly. Various recruiters present their current job opportunities and offer students option to meet with them directly to discuss the possibilities of working as a driver for them. Hudson Truck Driving School also offers pre-hire applications for potential students to ensure they are hire-able within the industry.
Staff are available during regular office hours to assist any student with questions or concerns regarding their training program. Instructors are available during specific classes each week for assistance.

Tuition and Required Fees include all training materials, student handbook, Class A and B pre-trip inspection manuals, audio & video files, Bumper2Bumper online training and additional materials as requested. Any and all training that occurs on campus; classroom education, simulator practice, backing range and one-to-one behind the wheel training and CDL road test. Wisconsin CDL license cost is $74 for Class A or B. The license is an additional cost paid by the student directly to the WI DMV upon successfully passing the CDL road test.
Student will receive a full refund of all money paid if the student: Cancels within three-business-days, enrollment was procured as the result of any misrepresentation of written materials used by the school, or in oral representations made by or on behalf of the school. Refunds will be issued within 30 business days for any student who drops/withdraws. A student who withdraws/dismissed after attending 1 class, but before completing 60% of training is entitled to a pro-rata refund.

MAKING SENSE OF THE EMPLOYMENT OUTCOMES:

"Average quarterly wages" means the total wages earned in a three-month period by all students who completed the program ("completers"), divided by the total number of completers.

"Median quarterly wages" means all the completers' quarterly wages are placed in order from lowest to highest and then we identify the student's wages in the middle. This information is provided because averages can be greatly influenced by really high and low wage earners.

To estimate monthly wages, divide the quarterly wages by three.
