Graduates of this program will be able to build, repair and maintain microcomputer hardware; install network hardware including modems, interface cards, and cabling; install operating system software and application software. They will also be able to configure software per specifications. The CompTIA A+ certification is a globally recognized industry standard for establishing an IT career and it provides a different approach to define competency in operational procedures including basic disaster prevention, recovery, and scripting basics; and a greater dependency on networking and device connectivity. Applications are required at least 1 week before the training starts.
It is the fundamental start to a career in the Information technology industry. The A+ certification will then be follow up with a Network + certification which can be complemented with either a Microsoft Certification of a Cisco Certification.
