Whether you re currently operating a start-up, or looking to get your business up and running, learn the strategies you need to take your business to the next level in the Small Business Entrepreneurship associate degree at Moraine Park Technical College. Being an entrepreneur takes courage and creativity. It takes a commitment to learning, the courage to try new things, permission to fail, and the determination to get back up and brush yourself off when you do. But mostly it simply requires the passion to keep pushing forward to achieve your dream. The entrepreneurship courses provide new and current entrepreneurs with hands-on training in business planning, financing, marketing, customer service, financial management and business communications. This program is offered

Program applications are accepted until a week prior to the start of each semester. There are some exceptions for programs or certificates that begin mid-semester. Some high-demand/limited-enrollment programs reach capacity based on the number of students who complete admission. Applicants are accepted into limited-enrollment programs on a first-come, first-served basis and are admitted from program waitlists as space becomes available.
Advisory board committee members from area businesses provide guidance and direction on curriculum and program outcomes.
Moraine Park offers Employment Services and Career Services to students.
Tutoring is available online and face to face for our students.

PLEASE NOTE:

MAKING SENSE OF THE EMPLOYMENT OUTCOMES:

"Average quarterly wages" means the total wages earned in a three-month period by all students who completed the program ("completers"), divided by the total number of completers.

"Median quarterly wages" means all the completers' quarterly wages are placed in order from lowest to highest and then we identify the student's wages in the middle. This information is provided because averages can be greatly influenced by really high and low wage earners.

To estimate monthly wages, divide the quarterly wages by three.
