Known as our ""Professional Program"" this is approximately an 8 week course designed to teach you all the knowledge you'll need to safely and efficiently operate a Class A combination vehicle. You will have a mixture of classroom and behind the wheel training. You will learn how to properly perform a pre-trip inspection, as well as how to log your hours of service, how to handle different types of emergencies, loading dock procedures and several other topics including learning all DOT and ICC rules and regulations. The behind the wheel training will teach you gear shifting, city and highway driving, turns, trailer coupling/uncoupling, offset, straight and 90 degree backing, defensive driving and many other topics designed to make you a quality driver and keep you safe when you're on the road...just what employers are looking for. Must have a valid drivers license and the ability to obtain a Class A Learners' Permit and Federal Medical card, as well as a satisfactory driving record, basic ability to read, write and speak English and be at least 21 years of age (you can train if 18-20 but will not be allowed to travel across state lines while under 21).

While we do not offer or guarantee or offer direct job placement to any student; we do work with several local companies in an effort to find quality jobs for our students once their training is completed. We also post job listings in our office and will soon be posting them online for our students to take advantage of. We also have job recruiters from some of the nation's largest trucking companies come to speak with our students about career opportunities.

This course is all inclusive meaning that the tuition covers your training and any supplies provided to you. The "Supplies/Materials" amount includes your safety vest. The "Other Fees" amount consists of, your Federal medical card exam ($103.50), a driving record check ($5.50), drug test ($100) your first CDL Test (3 test sections at $50 ea for a total of $150), and the truck and trailer for exam ($250)
A full refund will be issued if enrollment is cancelled or withdrawn withing 72 hours of signing the enrollment agreement. After training has begun a pro-rated refund will be issued minus the cost of all hours of training completed up to that point. If 60% or more of the training has been completed then no refund will be issued. As for any veterans the pro-rata portion of the refund policy will be in accordance with 38 CFR 21.4255 (for more info on what that mean please contact us)

PLEASE NOTE:

If there are fewer than eight enrollments in the training program, only the "Enrollments" number will be displayed; all other data is hidden in order to help protect the students' identities. The "Employment Outcomes" are calculated using information from Wisconsin's Unemployment Insurance Wage database. Most employers are required to report certain employment information to the State of Wisconsin, including quarterly wage information for their employees. Students whose information could not be verified in this database are excluded from these outcomes. If a "0" shows for any of these outcomes, it means that none of the students' information could be verified.

MAKING SENSE OF THE EMPLOYMENT OUTCOMES:

"Average quarterly wages" means the total wages earned in a three-month period by all students who completed the program ("completers"), divided by the total number of completers.

"Median quarterly wages" means all the completers' quarterly wages are placed in order from lowest to highest and then we identify the student's wages in the middle. This information is provided because averages can be greatly influenced by really high and low wage earners.

To estimate monthly wages, divide the quarterly wages by three.
