This course is designed for anyone who needs an understanding of IT Service Management to help deliver better value to customers. It is appropriate for all IT staff and management, as well as customers who work closely with IT to support business requirements. By completion of this course, you will have a deep understanding of the 7 Guiding Principles, 4 Dimensions of Service Management, 34 ITIL Practices and the new Value Service Chain that incorporate the core of ITIL . - ITIL Overview - Key Concepts of ITIL - The Four Dimensions of Service Management - The ITIL Service Value System (SVS) - The ITIL Guiding Principles - Governance - The Service Value Chain - Continual Improvement - Key ITIL Practices - Other ITIL Practices Students attend 2 days of scheduled instruction. Students taking this course should have the following skills: end-user skills with Windows®-based personal computers. End-user level computer and networking skills are required. Some level of work experience in IT service support or IT service delivery is highly recommended.

We offer interviewing practice sessions and resume reviews. Professional job placement assistance through recruiting and business partnerships is available to career development students.

MAKING SENSE OF THE EMPLOYMENT OUTCOMES:

"Average quarterly wages" means the total wages earned in a three-month period by all students who completed the program ("completers"), divided by the total number of completers.

"Median quarterly wages" means all the completers' quarterly wages are placed in order from lowest to highest and then we identify the student's wages in the middle. This information is provided because averages can be greatly influenced by really high and low wage earners.

To estimate monthly wages, divide the quarterly wages by three.
