The program is a State of Wisconsin certified Pre-Apprenticeship Readiness Program. The Program prepares participants for Apprenticeships in the Industrial Manufacturing Technician trade. The coursework covers the first semester of the Industrial Manufacturing Technician apprenticeship's Paid Related Instruction. In addition, training and coursework covers the basics of Machining that is necessary for successful entry in the Machine Tool trades. The training is ""Hands-on"" competency based. The participants learn by doing activities that simulate what is done on a Machine shop. Upon completion of the program participates receive a Pre-Apprentice certificate along with a Industry-wide Certified Production Technician certificate. Show More

This program is offered

The training is open entry/exit. Classes start on Mondays each week. Applications are accepted throughout the year except during the holiday breaks.
Apprenticeship, Certified Production Technician and Industrial Manufacturing Technician.
Placement is done with companies who have hired former students. Also through M-WERC, MATC and the Wisconsin Regional Training Partnership (WRTP).
Tutoring is available during the training as needed.

Fees for online course modules and testing.
There is no refund policy. fees are paid through FSET, Reentry funding, WIOA or other types of sponsorships.

MAKING SENSE OF THE EMPLOYMENT OUTCOMES:

"Average quarterly wages" means the total wages earned in a three-month period by all students who completed the program ("completers"), divided by the total number of completers.

"Median quarterly wages" means all the completers' quarterly wages are placed in order from lowest to highest and then we identify the student's wages in the middle. This information is provided because averages can be greatly influenced by really high and low wage earners.

To estimate monthly wages, divide the quarterly wages by three.
