Radiographers have an important role in the treatment of the ill and injured. It s their responsibility to ensure that the diagnostic images they produce are of the highest quality so that members of the medical team can make accurate diagnoses and treat patients accordingly. In this program, you ll learn the effect of radiation on the body, how to position patients correctly, determine the proper settings for optimum exposures, and how to protect yourself and your patient from the effects of radiation. MAKING SENSE OF THE EMPLOYMENT OUTCOMES:

"Average quarterly wages" means the total wages earned in a three-month period by all students who completed the program ("completers"), divided by the total number of completers.

"Median quarterly wages" means all the completers' quarterly wages are placed in order from lowest to highest and then we identify the student's wages in the middle. This information is provided because averages can be greatly influenced by really high and low wage earners.

To estimate monthly wages, divide the quarterly wages by three.
