2011-12 Local Youth Apprenticeship Grants Request for Proposal (RFP)

The Department of Workforce Development (DWD) is accepting applications for Local Youth Apprenticeship grants for the 2011-12 school year. The purpose of the grant is to sustain and expand the statewide youth apprenticeship program. All local partnerships must be approved by the DWD to operate a Youth Apprenticeship Program.

Funding under this RFP is available to local partnerships to implement and coordinate youth apprenticeship programs. State statutes define local partnerships as:

who have agreed to be responsible for implementing and coordinating a local youth apprenticeship program.

A total of $1,600,800 is available for the July 1, 2011 - June 30, 2012 grant period. All grant awards are contingent upon the availability of state funds.
