Initiating Source Documents

The State of Wisconsin has compiled a complete, verifiable count of fatal occupational injuries for 1999. This was accomplished by using multiple data sources, such as death certificates, worker's compensation reports, Coroners/Medical Medical Examiners reports, OSHA reports, newspaper clippings and other State and Federal administrative records. This publication provides detailed information on all fatal work related injuries that occurred in Wisconsin, including those of workers under 16 years of age, the self employed, farm workers and government employees.
