County of Injury - 2001 Claims

8,580 claims in Milwaukee County lead the county breakout. Dane County at 3,673 was in second place followed by Waukesha County at 3,139 claims. Milwaukee?s claims accounted for nearly $44 million in indemnity cost. Rusk County averaged $7,681 and Douglas County averaged $7,047 to lead Wisconsin counties in average indemnity cost per claim.
