Lifting (n=8,141) and Miscellaneous strains (5,955) were among the most frequent causes. Striking against or stepping on (not otherwise classified) only made up around 788 claims, but had an average cost per claim around $12.3K. Hand tool or machine use injuries only consisted of 445 claims, but the average cost per claim was around $10.7K. Falls on the same level were around 1,132 in number and had an average cost around $10.8K per claim.
