Request for Tax Rates

Beginning in October 2007, we will no longer provide Unemployment Insurance (UI) tax rates over the phone to third party employer agents.

Agents looking for their client's tax rate should do one of the following:

• Use our internet reporting application (Tax and Wage Reports) to file the report
• Obtain the rate from their client
• Use our Data File Exchange Program to obtain employer tax rates.  Sign in to Employer Service Provider Online Services, then you will see the Data File Exchange section.

Employers and agents with online access can also view account information, including tax rates, using the 'Employer UI Account Information' link in the Employer Services section of UI Tax and Accounting website http://dwd.wisconsin.gov/uitax.
