Initial Claims for unemployment insurance decreased by 514 to a total of 15,993 for the week ending July 12 (week 28). Last week Initial Claims totaled 16,507. One year ago Initial Claims amounted to 12,490.

Continued Claims

Continued Claims for unemployment insurance increased by 11,888 to a total of 80,044 for the week ending July 12 (week 28). Last week Continued Claims totaled 68,156. One year ago Continued Claims amounted to 78,007.
