On July 22, 2010, President Obama signed into law legislation that continues federal Unemployment Insurance (UI) extensions through November 2010 and provides retroactive payments for eligible claimants back to June 2, 2010. More Information

Unemployment Insurance offices will be closed on Friday, August 6, 2010, for a designated furlough day. Our automated phone system and on-line services will remain available.

Unemployment Insurance is funded by employer contributions to provide temporary economic assistance to Wisconsin's eligible workers.
