Adult Worker Services
Description: Provides grants to states for adult employment and training activities, including supportive services and needs-related services to support the employment and training needs of priority populations, including recipients of public assistance and other low-income individuals.
On April 17th, 2009 Governor Jim Doyle announced Wisconsin received $38 million in American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) funds to help dislocated workers, youth and people with disabilities find jobs and join in revitalizing Wisconsin's economy.
