Long-term projections are for a ten-year period. The most recent data is for 2006 to 2016. Employment projections are available for both industries and occupations. An industry is where a person works, such as an insurance company, a paper manufacturing plant, or a restaurant. An occupation describes what a person does, such as a truck driver, physical therapist, or carpenter.
