Job & Business Development Program

BMRLS collaborates with WISCAP to provides business and job opportunities to low income entrepreneurs. WISCAP administers a statewide program that provides services to help low-income people create new businesses. The program provides technical assistance to individuals who have sound ideas for establishing a small business by helping them gain the business acumen necessary to get started. Many program participants have been able to leave welfare, others have found a way out of minimum wage dead-end jobs and are now able to look to a productive future as small business owners.
