Statistics on LIRC's Decisions -- The Labor and Industry Review Commission compiles statistics on its case handling and decisions, on an annual (calendar year) basis. The information available includes, for each program area in which LIRC acts (UI, WC, ER), the number of appeals and decisions issued, type of decisions (i.e, result) by type of appellant, and time taken to issue decisions. There are also statistics on the appeals to LIRC as a percentage of all decisions issued by ALJs, as well as "rolling" multi-year analyses of the number of appeals received, decisions issued, and decisions appealed to court. Finally, there are statistics on the results in court appeals of LIRC decisions. Currently, these statistical reports are available on-line for the following years: Also available here is a table showing the LIRC Reversal Rate of ALJs for the period 1995-1998. Persons with questions about these statistics are invited to contact LIRC concerning them. |
