Process for Policy & Procedure Issue Resolution

Local Job Order Responsible Staff who need technical assistance to resolve a job order policy issue or have related questions should:

Consult the Job Order Policies and Procedures Document for relevant guidance. This policy is available at http://dwd.wisconsin.gov/jobservice/joborder/ and on the JobNet Business menu tree.

1. If policy exists, follow the process listed..
2. If no applicable policy is available, discuss the issue with the Job Service supervisor or another designated Job Service staff person for your local office. Ask for guidance and follow his/her direction.
3. If additional assistance is needed, the Job Order Policy Contact will contact the Central Office for advice. As needed, Central Office staff will consult with DWD Legal Counsel for guidance.
4. Based on the advice from the Central Office, follow the instructions on how to proceed with the job order and inform the employer when necessary.
