An overflow crowd gathered in Madison on May 19, 2010, to learn more about how to form industry partnerships and build bridges to career pathways. This Academy was hosted by DWD and the Center on Wisconsin Strategy (COWS) to deliver practical tools and first-hand experiences with different models in making these critical partnerships work.
The day’s agenda featured a welcome by DWD Deputy Secretary JoAnna Richard and national experts, Julie Strawn and Amy Ellen Duke-Benfield, from the Center for Law & Social Policy CLASP). Policy Advisor Anne Rodgers-Rhyme updated attendees on the status of this growing initiative in Wisconsin and shared updates on grant awards as well as positive outcomes.
