Charge to the Task Force

The Special Advisory Hmong Resettlement Task Force will advise the Governor and the Secretary of the Department of Workforce Development on matters relating to the resettlement of the Hmong refugees from Thailand. The Task Force will make recommendations on system improvements, best practices, employment connections, housing, citizenship, and access to needed services in order to successfully integrate this new refugee population into our state. The Task Force will serve as a clearinghouse for community resettlement efforts and will advise the state agencies on communication strategies and collaboration opportunities.
