Council on Workforce Investment (CWI) Health Care Sector Sub-Committee

Health Care is a sub-committee of the Industry Sector Committee

This sub-committee formed in October, 2009. The Select Committee on Health Care Workforce Development morphed into a new structure--the Council on Workforce Investment (CWI)-Health Care Sector Sub-Committee. Former Select Committee members were transitioned into the new sub-committee and added a few new members from the CWI-Full Council.

Select Committee on Health Care Workforce Development

Created in the spring of 2003 by Department of Workforce Development (DWD) Secretary to identify and help implement top-priority, immediate and longer-term strategies for addressing the health care worker shortages in Wisconsin.

The committee membership is comprised of leaders from the health care industry, education institutions, labor and state government.
