Invalid Job Code

The job code you entered was not found in our list of valid job codes.

UI Number must be 6 numeric digits; Fein Number must be 9 numeric digits.

If you are using your UI Employer Account Number, use just the first 6 digits without spaces or dashes. If you are using your Fein Number, make sure it is 9 digits without any spaces (dashes are optional). Whichever you use, make sure all digits are numeric (characters 1-9 with no letters).

You have not been approved to submit data for Fein Number XXXXXXXXX.

To submit payroll data for a Fein Number, you must be linked to that Fein Number. If you have a UI Employer Account Number, use that instead of a Fein Number. Otherwise, you must register to use a Fein Number. If you plan to submit payroll data for more than one Fein Number, you must apply for access for each Fein Number, even if you already have access to the system.

Invalid project determination number.

The Project Determination Number you provided was not found in our system. Make sure that you are providing 9 numeric digits (characters 1-9 with no letters). Don't use any spaces, dashes or special characters. Also double check that the Project Determination Number is correct and the no characters have been mixed up or miskeyed.

Invalid SSN format. Please enter the last 4 digits.

Please submit only the last 4 digits of the employee's SSN. Use only numeric digits (characters 1-9 with no letters). Omit any spaces or dashes. What if I still get an error?

'XXXX' was not found in our list of valid union short names

Use a valid union short name from our list of valid union short names. Double check that the name is not misspelled and that there are no extra spaces. If your union or local number is not found on the list, you must submit a request for a new union or local number.

'XXXX' was not found in our list of valid local/area short names.

As with the previous question, use a valid local/area short name from our list of valid union short names. Double check that the name is not misspelled and that there are no extra spaces. If your union or local number is not found on the list, you must submit a request for a new union or local number.

No union was found for which union short name = 'XXXX' and local short name = 'YYYY'.

Your union and local short names were both found on the list of valid union short names. However, the combination is not valid. Check that the union and local short names both belong to the same row in the list.

No contract has been submitted and approved for union short name = 'XXXX' and local/area short name = 'YYYY'.

Your union and local short names are valid, but you must upload a copy of the Collective Bargaining Agreement. After you upload the contract, it must still be approved by our staff before you can upload payroll data.
