How to Submit Payroll Data

Note: Before you submit payroll data, you must first gain access to the system.

Once you have access, there are two methods of submitting your data:

Method 1: Create and upload a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet

This method is recommended for anyone who reports multiple employees or works on multiple projects. The process involves 3 steps:

  1. Enter your payroll data into a spreadsheet.
  2. Save the spreadsheet on your computer.
  3. Log on to the Certified Payroll Record Collection website and upload the spreadsheet.

Method 2: Enter payroll data online

This method is recommended for anyone who just needs to upload a small amount of data. To use this method:

  1. Log on to the Certified Payroll Record Collection website.
  2. Enter your data into a web form and submit the form.
