Retaliation Protection under the Public Employee Health and Safety Law
Section 101.055 of the Wisconsin Statutes provides that if a person reports an actual or potential hazard to the Safety and Buildings Division of the Department of Commerce and then is retaliated against by the employer, the individual can file a Retaliation Complaint with the Division within 30 days.
