Wisconsin WIA and WIOA Staff Contacts

The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) was signed into law by President Obama on July 22, 2014. WIOA seeks to more fully integrate states' workforce and talent development systems to better serve employers, workers and job seekers.

Wisconsin is currently in the midst of a two year phased implementation into WIOA, which supersedes the Workforce Investment Act (WIA). As the state's federally-designated workforce agency, the Department of Workforce Development is the tasked with implementation of the law.

The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) programs operate under the same federal regulations and guidelines nationally, but differ from state-to-state with established state and local plans. The contacts below have expertise in the WIOA-funded program offerings in the state of Wisconsin.
