Workforce of Choice: DWD Web Project
As DWD builds upon the 2011 redesign of our website, we are looking for Wisconsin employers that are interested in sharing images of their talented dedicated workers in action. We would like to feature these images on a rotating banner on the homepage of our website to show visitors, including employers looking to expand or locate in Wisconsin, why state’s workforce is truly the Workforce of Choice!
DWD piloted the Web Project concept with members of the Wisconsin State Council of Society for Human Resource Management and are eager to offer this opportunity to all Wisconsin employers now that we have an initial cache of photos to feature!
The following employers have participated, or are currently participating, in the Workforce of Choice pilot:
What do employers need to do? Just send us a picture of your workers in Wisconsin doing what they do every day.
What kind of picture do I need to send? Your submission should be a high-resolution photo with a minimum size of 1200 x 300 pixels. Most digital cameras purchased in the last few years will have the capability to meet this requirement, very few camera phones can. Preferred file formats are .tiff, .jpg, .png. and .pdf. Remember, our goal is to feature Wisconsin’s workforce in action, meaning company logos and images must be secondary to your workers in the photos. Please feel free to send us several to review and select the best one.
How much will it cost? There is no cost to participate in the DWD Web Project.
Where do I send the pictures? Please send the pictures and names of each employee pictured (we need the names for our records) along with the name of your company, contact person and locations, to DWD Project Manager Grant Westfall at Grant.Westfall@dwd.wisconsin.gov, or 608-266-0984. You can direct any questions regarding the submissions to Mr. Westfall. Additional details terms/conditions for placement, including duration, will be provided to participating employers.
