Dr. Richard Florida, public policy expert and author of The Rise of the Creative Class and The Flight of the Creative Class, will be the conference keynote luncheon speaker on Friday, January 13 at the Madison Concourse Hotel. Dr. Florida’s remarks will begin at 12:20 PM.
Roberta Gassman, Secretary of the Department of Workforce Development, will speak briefly about the Governor’s KidsFirst initiative and the importance of investing in early childhood education and programs. Secretary Gassman will introduce Dr. Florida.
Florida is joined by other leading economic development experts on the connections between the investment in early childhood programs and economic growth. Other conference speakers:
