Eligible workers include all workers of Strattec Security Corporation, Assembly Department, Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

“I am pleased that we are able to offer additional assistance to these workers,” Governor Doyle said. “Wisconsin’s hard working and highly motivated workers have faced some tough economic times, and this additional funding will allow us to get these folks back on their feet and back into the workforce. These individuals and their families need and deserve this assistance.”

The services, administered by the Department of Workforce Development and local Workforce Development Boards, are available through local Job Centers. The services are funded through the Trade Adjustment Assistance (TAA) program, and include a comprehensive array of retraining and reemployment services tailored to meet the needs of the individual workers. “This federal funding will increase our capacity to serve all workers in the area, as we reconnect unemployed workers to employment as quickly as possible,” said DWD Secretary Roberta Gassman.
