At 10 a.m. Thursday, October 14, Department of Workforce Development Secretary (DWD) Roberta Gassman will present a major child care grant to Milwaukee Public Schools. The district provides child care before and after school to more than 5,000 children. This grant will help MPS, in partnership with Milwaukee Area Technical College and local centers, meet the needs of working parents and get children ready for success. Secretary Gassman will be joined by Representative David Cullen.
