LARRY STUDESVILLE NAMED DWD EXECUTIVE ASSISTANTReplaces vacancy left by Jennifer Reinert MADISON Department of Workforce Development Secretary Jennifer Reinert today announced the appointment of Larry Studesville to the position of Executive Assistant at DWD. He fills a vacancy left by Reinert, who was first named Deputy Secretary and later Secretary of the department. Studesville most recently served as a senior associate at MSB Energy Associates in Madison, focusing on strategic planning, industry restructuring and program development and evaluation. His background in the energy industry spans 25 years, which includes being an owner of a small business in the area of natural gas, electricity and energy products, senior vice president of Planergy, a project development company, and general manager of sales and marketing at Wisconsin Power and Light. Studesville also ran his own strategic planning and consulting business. "We are very pleased to have Larry a part of the team at the Department of Workforce Development. He is not only a relationship-builder, but a successful communicator who will contribute a great deal toward making this agency the very best it can be," said Secretary Reinert. Studesville, who will hold the third-highest ranking position in the department, will report directly to the Secretary and begin his duties on November 20 with an annual salary of $86,000. -30- | |||
