MADISON--Department of Workforce Development (DWD) Secretary Linda Stewart today announced the appointment of Jennifer Reinert as Executive Assistant at the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development (DWD). Reinert most recently served as Administrator of the Division of Technology Management in the State of Wisconsin Department of Administration. The Division of Technology Management provides business and information technology planning for all state agencies. Before joining state service in 1998, Ms. Reinert served for 25 years in public education. She has taught at the elementary, high school, technical college and university levels, and also has served as a special education director and high school principal. Ms. Reinert also is a certified strategic planner and has worked as a trainer and consultant in both the private and public sectors. "We are delighted to have someone of Jennifers caliber on board at DWD," Secretary Stewart said. "She is a talented and bright individual who clearly has the experience and ability to make a substantial contribution to the Department." Reinert, who will hold the third highest-ranking position in the Department, will report directly to DWD Secretary Linda Stewart. She will begin her duties on August 14 with an annual salary of $95,079. -END- | |||
