Partnerships
No single agency or organization can achieve an effective workforce system alone. In Wisconsin, the Department of Workforce Development has partnerships with:
- employers,
- economic development groups,
- educators,
- Workforce Development Boards
- and many other entities to ensure a strong Wisconsin workforce development system.
And, Wisconsin is pursuing new ways to align resources and efforts with the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) and other entities to increase its ability to anticipate, adapt and respond to workforce needs currently and into the future. The Governor's Council on Workforce Investment plays a key role in advancing policies that will support these goals.
