50th Anniversary of the first Worker's Compensation Law

1961: On the 50th anniversary of the passage of the first worker's compensation law, Senator Theodore W. Brazeau addresses the State Senate.  In 1909, Senator Brazeau introduced a proposal to provide compensation insurance which was the first attempt at workers compensation legislation.
