
Report all expenditures relating to providing program services for WIA eligible Out-Of-School Youth customers that relate to activities for the overall purpose of providing eligible youth with services that assist in achieving academic and employment success by providing education/skill competencies and providing effective connections to employers.
A minimum of 30% of youth funds must be spent on Out-Of-School Youth.
Expenditures may include: Assessments, tutoring, training, work experience, summer employment, supportive services, follow-up services and other costs directly related to services for participants. Costs may be personnel and non-personnel and direct and indirect.
Note: If a youth is enrolled as in-school, they remain as an in-school youth regardless of what type of future activity they are enrolled in. Also, if a participant is enrolled as a youth, they remain as a youth even if they become an adult while enrolled in the program.
Costs reported on this code roll to the 2XXX WIA Youth code for the relevant contract period.
