Preventive Health

Report costs relating to bilingual outreach to recent refugees on health issues and orientation to American society and health care system. Costs may include, but are not limited to:

• staff and related costs,
• costs for interpreters,
• translation of documents,
• transportation to medical appointments,
• conducting workshops and training for health care workers on cultural issues.

Funds are targeted at recently arrived refugees. Additional refugees may be served on a space-available basis, regardless of date of entry.
