Emergency Assistance (EA) Payments

Report all Emergency Assistance payments, in accordance with the Department's policies and procedures.

Note: Emergency Assistance Payments and Emergency Payments are two different programs. This code is exclusively for Emergency Assistance payments as described in the W-2 Manual. See code 2217 for more information on Emergency Payments, also described in the W-2 Manual.
