Food Share Employment and Training (FSET) – Customized Skills Training Services

Report all expenditures involved in planning, implementing and operating the activities associated with Customized Skills Training.

Customized Skills Training is for high-demand employment occupations as defined by local workforce development partners and consistent with the occupational clusters identified by the Initiative for a Competitive Milwaukee. Customized skills training also includes training on a specific occupation on the demand of an employer. Customized training consists of taking an existing post-secondary education course and completing a review with an employer to determine which components of the course would meet the training needs of the employer, i.e., what specific skills and competencies should be included.

Examples of allowable costs include salary, fringe, travel, training, supplies, and occupancy for staff and first line supervision (including subcontracted costs).

Do not report direct transportation costs or participant supportive services costs on this line code. Transportation costs are reported on code 0876 FSET Transportation, and Supportive Services costs are reported on code 0877 FSET Supportive Services.

Amounts reported in this code roll to contract code 0875 FSET Administration.
