Reporting Instructions: DCF CORe Code 0850

Child Care Administration

Report all reasonable and necessary expenditures associated with the administration of the Child Care Program. Costs include administrative staff time and related fringe benefits and allocated costs that are not included in the County Shared Cost report.

Counties:

Eligibility costs are to be reported as part of the W-2 costs of the Contract Agency who administers the W-2 program for the County and are not to be included on this line code.
Costs reported on the County Shared Cost Report are not to be reported on this line code. These costs are reported on line code 8850/County Alloc Non-direct costs – CC Admin.

Tribes:

Report all administrative costs on this line code (0850). Line code 8850 is not available to tribes.

Costs reported on this line code and on line codes 0849/Child Care Special Purpose and 0851/Child Care Program Operations, 8850/County Alloc Non-direct costs – CC Admin, and 8851/County Alloc Non-direct costs – CC Program Operations are reimbursed on contract code 0852, subject to contract limits.
