Project Lead the Way (PLTW) - Program
Report direct program costs relating to career oriented work experiences,
mentorship, and academic tutoring for participants who are co-enrolled in WIA
and PLTW programs. Costs can include:
- field trips and tours to local businesses
and schools,
- participant wages at $6.75 per hour,
- and incentive awards.
Costs can also include:
- up to $5,000 for salary and fringe benefits for a MPS
staff to train the program mentors and to support the project coordinator in
developing work experience experience activities; and
- up to $7,187.50 for
salary and fringe benefits to support .20 FTE for a MAWIB staff person to
provide case coordination and documentation in ASSET, coordinate tutoring and
mentoring program activities, coordinate with local businesses and act as
liaison between MPS, MAWIB and DWD.
